European Lotteries Congress Approves National Lottery plc Membership
The European Lotteries (EL) Congress held in Sibenek, Croatia concluded this week with the General Assembly, which unanimously approved National Lottery plc as the new operator of Malta’s national lottery, granting it full membership in the association.
First European Lotteries Congress for National Lottery plc
This marked the inaugural EL Congress for National Lottery plc, which began operations in July 2022. The General Assembly proposed and unanimously approved National Lottery plc’s full membership after the operator fulfilled all prerequisites. This decision grants National Lottery plc the full benefits of EL membership.
New Opportunities for National Lottery plc
Franco De Gabriele, the representative of National Lottery plc at the EL Congress and General Assembly in Croatia, expressed his gratitude for the positive response. He remarked, “Full membership in EL marks the end of what has been a watershed year for National Lottery plc and the start of a new and exciting chapter for the company.”
