Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources and Payroll Administrator to manage our payroll process. This role requires compiling and processing relevant information for the accurate formulation of monthly salaries and the day-to-day reporting of the HR Department. Experience with payroll software, particularly Shireburn Indigo, is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality administrative support for payroll operations.
  • Maintain HR records, including updates to contracts, salary reviews, pay rates, and other employment information.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll.
  • Collect and enter payroll data into the system.
  • Prepare payroll reports, including summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
  • Calculate payroll liabilities, including employee income, social security taxes, and other statutory payments.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Manage employee records for engagements, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Support team members in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Provide a responsive and accurate client advisory service on payroll matters within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on payroll administration.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law in Malta.
  • Mandatory experience with Shireburn Indigo software.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • A team player with a proactive approach.
