Job Description

The Core Systems Support Personnel play a pivotal role within the IT department, specifically within the Application Support team, ensuring the smooth operation of gaming systems utilized by the National Lottery and other ancillary systems. This role contributes directly to the organization’s growth by maintaining and operating these systems efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Operate lottery system, sports betting, and slot machines back-office systems.
  • Conduct back-office configurations including retailer, equipment, and attendants’ configurations.
  • Perform draw procedures and daily monitoring.
  • Operate and maintain testing/staging environments.
  • Maintain and enhance team procedures and checklists.
  • Offer technical and second-line support to NL Support and Field Support technicians.
  • Conduct remote technical troubleshooting.
  • Act as the main point of contact for issue escalation to Third Parties.
  • Operate and maintain retail display solutions.
  • Upload and schedule multimedia content on retail display solutions.
  • Conduct testing of Lottery gaming system changes, retail terminals’ software releases, back-office system changes, internal applications, and 3rd party integrations.
  • Validate delivered software against defined specifications.
  • Identify bugs, validate controls, provide feedback, propose improvements, and report CAT observations to relevant entities delivering the software.
Requirements
  • IT-related diploma or certifications, preferably in Information Systems.
