IZIGROUP Renews Support for Malta Trust Foundation in 2024
Renewing a Longstanding Commitment
IZIGROUP has renewed its relationship with the Malta Trust Foundation, through a sponsorship agreement that will see the Group support a number of projects under the tutelage of the Foundation. IZIGROUP has been supporting the Foundation’s projects for several years.
Supporting Children Through The Blossom Project
Through this sponsorship agreement, IZIGROUP will be aiding the Malta Trust Foundation in its work under ‘The Blossom Project’, providing hundreds of children attending Maria Regina College in St. Paul’s Bay Primary School with much needed counselling services. The work undertaken by the Malta Trust Foundation at the school over the past years has had a tremendous impact on the lives of children attending the school.
Enriching Lives Through Music and the Arts
Another project that is supported by the sponsorship agreement is ‘Villabianca’ – Centre for Music and the Arts. Villabianca is a specialised centre for providing free access to music and group arts opportunities to children and young people with disabilities. A total of 140 service users have been given access to the services of the centre in 2023.
Strengthening Communities Through Long-Term Collaboration
‘We are very delighted with the opportunity to be supporting the noble causes of the Malta Trust Foundation in their quest to improve the lives of children with special needs,’ said Franco de Gabriele – Chief Commercial Officer of IZIGROUP. ‘The services provided by the Foundation impact positively the lives of the children and their families. We hope that with our contributions the Foundation can sustain and increase the coverage of their work in our society. Giving back to the community is one of the main objectives of the IZIGROUP and a key part of our CSR charter.’
Shared Vision for Positive Change
‘We are pleased that IZIGROUP has continued with their support for The Malta Trust Foundation to continue with the provision of counselling services in St Paul’s Bay Primary School, and also in helping to make music and the arts accessible to Children and Young People with disabilities’, said Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President Emeritus and Founder and Chairperson of the Malta Trust Foundation. ‘This support is crucial for the continuation of these important services which are so beneficial to our young service users and their families. We are proud of the importance that IZIGROUP is giving to the social impact of such essential services and are very pleased with their renewed commitment to our cause.’
