Network and Systems Engineer | Position Overview

IZIGROUP is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Network & Systems Engineer to own, maintain, and optimise our critical on-premise and hybrid infrastructure. This ideal candidate should possess good expertise across networking, virtualisation, and core systems administration to ensure the security, stability, and high performance of the Group’s business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and network systems.
  • Monitoring systems health, managing risks, and ensuring uninterrupted service delivery to all companies in the Group.
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, primarily built on Cisco, Fortigate and Aruba.
  • Oversee connectivity, security, and performance across datacenters and office networks.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support Linux, Windows, VMware, SAN storage, and backup technologies.
  • Build and maintain detailed documentation in line with ISO27001 compliance requirements.
  • Participate in incident response, change management, and project workflows.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience as a Network Engineer, with expertise in routing, switching, and firewall management (Fortinet, Cisco and Aruba).
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, SAN storage, backup solutions, and Windows/Linux servers.
  • Strong proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Solid understanding of virtualisation, cloud, storage, and networking technologies.
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash and/or PowerShell) for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Entra ID authentication and identity-based access.
  • Proven track record of managing data centre and office infrastructures.
  • Strong background working in ISO27001-controlled environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, are highly valued but not mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar or related role.
