Position Overview
IZIGROUP is looking for a highly skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, comfort, and safety of HVAC and refrigeration systems across our outlets and various premises.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, VRVs, split systems, and ventilation units.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Test and balance air and water treatment systems to maximize energy efficiency.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls and troubleshoot on-site.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
- Ensure all work complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and company quality standards.
Requirements:
- Vocational Diploma, Higher Trade School Diploma in HVAC/Refrigeration, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
- A valid and clean Category B driving license.
- Strong command of the English language (Maltese is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
