Job Description

The Betting Store Manager will assume responsibility for the overall success of the store by ensuring that revenue targets are met, supervising Betting Store Attendants, and maintaining effective quality control. By having the required knowledge of all National Lottery’s suite of games one will provide direct assistance for our Betting Store Attendants.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency
  • Balancing of cash collection, reconciling and preparation of store deposits
  • Managing and resolving customer difficulties using applicable software
  • Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines
  • Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it
  • Providing product training and service information to Betting Store Attendants
  • Liaising with various departments
  • Drive the up-selling of products and services
  • Completing betting store metric reports as required
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role will be considered an asset
  • Having a sound knowledge of sports betting, lottery and bingo games is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in relevant computer and Microsoft Office applications
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Have good listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Be able to multitask and handle stressful situations without supervision appropriately
